27 Snapshots of May
Ask a stranger to take a photo of you at a restaurant. Ruin the moment. One day you’ll look back and want that blurry photo of your friends laughing. You’ll want to sift through a memory with your mom. If only just to remember. The proof that, for a moment, we were here.
For June, I think you should snap more photos. I’ll do it too. Stick your phone in your friends face. Take a picture of napkins on plates at the end of the dinner, a finished cake, that colorful drink. Capture your feet in socks curled up next to your guy. Lit by the hough of a movie. Frame a beautiful sunset. In fact, take a photo of used tissues blotted with your tears. A moment of humanity. Document it all. Document everything.
